I had six giant donut holes for “breakfast” this morning. Adjusted the rest of the day. Been living off bread and chili this week. Low movement because of cough, still doing okay. I honestly don’t know if the donut holes were giant or not, but since I thought they looked big, I double counted them to make sure I wasn’t going over.

Katsolo— GOOGLE says 5 krispy Cream doughnut holes (25 gm) is 25 carbs, 12 fats, 3 protein, and 210 calories. Is that better or worse than you expected?

It’s about right. I ate six, they seemed big, so I just doubled the number and pretended I ate a dozen. I’m not stressing over it, just adjusting the budget. 😉

I should mention they were 7AM donuts from a small shop, so worth the splurge. Plain glazed, yeast donut holes. So good.

My favorite donuts is a Plain applesauce or pumpkin cake donut. Winchelks used to make a chocolate cake doughnut with chocolate glaze and nuts. So good, but they went out of business and I never looked for a replacement.

I was wondering how you have been feeling. I have been wanting carbs all day long. I'm sure it's the comfort factor. I'm still not able to sleep laying down and coughing is killing me...hope you are feeling better soon. I'm on day 9 of this. .😭🤧😷

Diana, it sucks! I’m too tired to do what I want, my voice is hit or miss, and I could hack up a lung at any moment if I’m not careful my breathing to control the cough. And my voice goes from Barry White to Jessica Rabbit with no warning whatsoever. Walking has been interesting as the little hill in the final stretch home is definitely more challenging than normal at this point.

Puffs plus has added Vicks Vapo-rub to their tissues. I am in awe. Totally worth it and I am the queen or store brand only most days.

My husband went out and bought the lotion infused; nes because my nose was getting so red and sore. Hadn't heard of Vicks ones though. 💜
