Happy Friday eve. Long walk last night, I have to run up to the mothership today, postponed twice due to rain, no more, no more. Was looking at the traffic map and it’s still saying flood warning. I’m sure it will be fine, I have friends up there that would tell me if there is a real issue. Tonight, going out to a show, hoping the weather clears for that. These numbers are, how shall we say it, not exactly the best, because I was cold and went to bed again last night. I’m not sick, I’m just a wuss. I would rather be warm under the covers than running around. Surprisingly enough, it doesn’t bother me during the day when I’m up and about, but given the choice between couch and bed, I have chosen bed. Effectively, I’m hibernating. Not going to focus on the numbers, they will normalize when the rain stops and it’s not so freaking cold. Duplicate pic because I felt like the store needed its own little moment not squished between sunsets and I couldn’t edit the first pic. It’s not all about dogs. Even though I live in an historic district, things can change drastically with new landlords or other catastrophes. How beautiful! I thought of you this morning. Our power went out just as I was waking up. No heat for a couple of hours. Although I was in my warm, snuggly robe, I was starting to feel chilly. I was debating crawling back into bed when the power came back on. I'm such a wuss. Our central heat stays on 73 degrees downstairs....70 upstairs....68 at night.

Gorgeous pictures! I feel the same. I can go to gym in a tank too but at night I'm all bundled up in my heavy flannels with a Sherpa blanket over me.

I was just reminded by BF that I sit on a heating pad all day when I’m working and that’s probably why I’m not cold. Duh. I just need to get a separate heating pad for every chair in every room. Problem solved! 😂

Too much rain in some places, while others are dry as stone. Malo malo. I need to ask: what do you mean by "mothership"? I've googled it and it only offers definitions of the "mother ship that serves smaller ships" XXDDD

Eva the mothership refers to the corporate offices of the company I work for. My TikTok career hasn’t done as well as I’d hoped, so still working for a living. Sk, I have heated socks for skiing. They are amazing.
