Long walk last night after a longish day/week at work. Had the first meaningful conversation with the new boss - who is temporary, but relationships matter, so we’ll work it with that in mind. Walk was not relaxing as a lot of weirdness was out and about. The moon was spectacular enough to make it worth it. Still can’t take decent pics with my phone. Summer is starting to hang out and follow me everywhere finally. She likes to jump up on walls while we’re walking and is jumping up on the foot rail to my bed during the day, but she jumps down if I try and get a picture of her.

Watched a really cool video yesterday about an approach for natural restoration and strengthening of cartilage in the body. Along with gentle, targeted exercises, it includes collagen 🤢, so I guess we’ll keep up with that but probably in a less processed form. Sent the video over to my medical friend to vet the source for me, but dude seems legit with my own research. Interestingly enough, it aligns with my previous PT experiences. In a nutshell, controlled gentle exercises in that area to stimulate growth. Rowing, cycling and elliptical are all good. Cool stuff. Walking the dogs is okay, but I need to keep up with maintaining my shoes, so I bought more inserts for when I can’t stand to toss them. I did throw away three pairs last month after going through the closet and being honest about their condition. If I can skate on wet sidewalks, the grip is gone and I need to let go. 🤪

Going to get an estimate for repairing the deck which is sinking on one side. Time to get back out in the backyard and i miss eating breakfast outside. I hate being an adult sometimes. It’s not always fun. Weekend rules, supposed to be 75 here today so will try and swim. Blob holding, muscle holding, drank a lot of water yesterday and it is what it is.
