Up a little this morning, cleaned the house last night instead of walking dogs, more chores today, so will probably change yet again. I spent something like three lethargic weeks recovering from this cold. My upper back is still slightly messed up, but getting better. Today’s adventure, cleaning up a small flood in the basement from a leaking pipe. Not my favorite thing to do, but has to be done.

Vet visit yesterday. Sadie is at the end of her chemo treatments due to the severity of the reaction she had to the last one. She’s feeling really good, but we’ve hit a fork in the road. The plan is to up her protein, lower the carbs and see if we can keep the tumors at bay for as long as possible. Quality of life is the priority. As long as she’s happy and not in pain, we’re good.

Still enjoying amazing wildflowers and cactus blooms. We will have more canyon adventures soon, i just needed to be able to breathe first. The amaryllis is on my deck and the jasmine is out of control.
