Joe sounds rightfully scared for you! How many days left before you run out of Prednisone? It should have already kicked in — do you still have Pinkeye and the ear/sinus infection? Very worried for you 🥺💚 

I’m sorry it’s still got hold of you. Do you have a nebulizer? 

Katsolo. Yes I have been using nebulizer 3-4 xs a day. I hope you are doing better! 💜JB, I'm done with Prednisone, antibiotics, and mucus meds as of Tuesday. Dr did not want to renew any. The antibiotics got rid of sinus infection and ear infection but pink eye seems to be lingering. I am super careful about keeping things sanitized and I wash my hands at least 50 xs a day! I have a compromised immune system and I'm wondering if that's what is going on.. Otb, thanks. I'm hoping to get better soon but I'm scared workouts are going to be severely affected and bulk diet gonna have to wait..

I'm sure you've already done this, but in addition to throwing away your mascara and eyeliner, don't forget to toss your eye cream if it's in a pot. Soooo expensive to get Pinkeye! Maybe your face towel, washcloth or pillowcase has traces that keep reinfecting you 🤔. Guess your knee is enjoying the recuperation time, at least (silver linings).  

I felt that way when I had a blood clot in my lungs. hope you get better soon 

Jb, It is expensive! I use Two-face mascara and it isn't cheap. I just bought a tube 2 days before I got pink eye. Had to toss it. My eye serum is in a pump so I cleaned pump but think that will be ok. My eye liner tossed as well. Even my moisturizer..😭. Hollsleslie, how did you know you had a blood clot? Hope you are ok!💜 Livinbreezy, I'll talked prayers for sure!💜🙏 

Miss Diana did you ever get that X-ray? Make sure that there is not something actually in your lungs? 

Oh my this has really taken a hold! Sending prayers that you start recovering. Nothing worse than not feeling good as it is hard to see the other side of feeling better. I was on chemo for 5 months and dreaded going in for my next treatment because I was just starting to feel alive again. You got this and it will get better but stay diligent with your health care professionals. 🙏🙏🙏 

YOH, I did ask for an x-ray but quick care said that because my oxygen was 98 they didn't seem it necessary. Meanwhile, I'm hacking and having several asthma attacks a day. My doctor is retiring and he is not seeing patients for my h anymore. I need a new Dr asap. 😭💜 

Red porch, I feel a bit better today but this happened a few days ago too. I felt good one day and tanked the next day. Chemo is brutal! I'm sorry you had to go through that💜💜💜 

Diana, this is what you say. I understand my oxygen is at 98 i want to ensure that i dont have pnuomonia or a mass in there. It’s how i discovered i have emphysema (never smoked). The X-ray showed the big ugly black mass in there. Ten years ago. My dr ordered it. (I know i spelled pneumonia wrong too hard to go back and fix). Tell them i am demanding an X-ray. Say, if i get worse and discover that you are liable because you wouldn’t do a simple X-ray it wont be pretty. Gosh i wish i lived near you. Unfortunately i learned how to be a ***** with medical in advocating for my mother for 20 years. I was sick like you for weeks and weeks and weeks. First viral infection, then bacterial, then pneumonia then voila. There’s a mass. I hate to keep harping on it but please be strident. Require them. Let’s make sure there is not something else going on in there. You may also need another round of prednisone. I was on it for the better part of a year that first year i was so ill. (Ugg thank you 80 pounds). Lungs are nothing to take a wait and see approach from via doctors. 

Ps. My daughter is both a bsn (bachelors rn) and a dip (doctorate nurse practitioner). I can’t tell you how many stories I’ve heard from the e.r. That would make you say WHAT? That got missed? Please please be pushy.

Sorry to hear you feel so bad. You wrote the sinus infection is gone. How do you know if you are still coughing so much? I don't know anything about asthma, is that what causes the coughing? Do you go to an allergist or can you get a referral? I couldn't handle being sick for so long. I hope you feel better soon and can get some sleep 

Fritzy, My nose was super stuffed, so bad I was having multiple bloody noses everyday, my ears were plugged and my throat was sore. That has definitely gotten better cuz they gave me antibiotics but the coughing is severe. I cough so bad I begin to choke and then start gasping for air. That's the asthma kicking in. I use my nebulizer 3-4 xs a day and that usually helps but not this time. I feel so weak as it just takes all your energy just to try to breathe. 💜💜 

Oh man I’m sorry!! I hope you can find relief SOON. UGH! Continued prayers!
